wner and head floral designer Yen "Ing" Nguyen brings her modern, clean and refined floral design aesthetic to Ezai Floral Design from her hometown of Portland, Oregon.

Ms. Nguyen came to the United States from Vietnam at the age of 11 and brought with her a passion for flowers and all of their magnificent possibilities. Always a fan of art – one of her favorites is the painter Monet – Ms. Nguyen was always fascinated how painters could celebrate nature by producing an interpretation of its beauty and colors on the canvas, with what appeared to be minimal effort.

Working as an accounting manager for one of Portland's top architecture firms, Ms. Nguyen also became influenced by the crisp, precise designs that were the firm's specialty. After designing the flower arrangements for a friend's wedding, Ms. Nguyen soon built up a thriving side business providing designing flower arrangements for weddings and other events.

Moving to Los Angeles in 2004, Ms. Nguyen decided she would fulfill her dream of opening her own flower shop. Based in Santa Monica, Ezai Flowers has built a clientele that includes law firms, local businesses and many of the nearby entertainment companies.
